“I cover anything business related for ISSE,” she said.

Her responsibilities include coordinating departmental budgets for research and income accounts, general ledger accounting, approvals of financial transactions, supervision of a small departmental support staff, financial analyses and preparation of reports for purposes of strategic planning, and surveys and program accreditation.

“I am extremely adaptable to new software and reporting,” said Norwood. In addition to her management acumen, she is skilled in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and more. She also has experience with in-house reporting with Banner, Argos, IRIS, and Business Warehouse. She “dabbles” in database design and implementation.

Norwood is originally from Greenville, South Carolina, and enjoys time outdoors, particularly camping, hiking, fly fishing, kayaking, and creative expression.

“I am an artist,” she said. “Painting, sculpting, and anything else depending on mood.”
