UT’s Commission for Women, Chancellor Donde Plowman, and Vice Chancellor Tyvi Small selected Kilic for sponsorship to attend a 2022 Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Institute of her choice.

HERS Institutes have sterling reputations for expanding horizons, providing exposure to new and exciting ideas, fostering enduring mentoring relationships, and preparing women for institutional leadership roles. Chancellor Plowman and the Commission for Women sponsor an outstanding UT woman for this program each year.

Kilic has also been elected to serve as member-at-large for the International Union of Radio Science US National Committee (URSI).
