Pre-College Program Status
Protecting the health and well-being of our Volunteer family remains our top priority, and that includes our future Vols and pre-college participants. In order to accomplish this, we will be moving our summer pre-college programs online.
The Office of Engineering Diversity Programs offers an array of pre-college engineering-focused enrichment programs for high school students.
Established in 2013, the Engineering VOLunteers for Tenth Graders (eVOL10) program selects rising tenth grade students who demonstrate an interest in engineering and provides an introduction to applied sciences.
Established in 2001, the High School Introduction to Engineering Systems for Twelfth Graders (HITES12) program identifies and selects rising twelfth grade students who demonstrate an interest in engineering and offers them the opportunity to explore UT.
Engineers Day WTI
Engineers Day 2018 West Tennessee Initiative (WTI) is an overnight program for current high school juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing engineering.
The college is seeking current UT students to serve as counselors for the 21st Annual Summer Pre-College Programs during the summer of 2020. Counselors will lead and mentor rising tenth and twelfth grade students interested in science, math, and engineering.
