Summer Algebra Enrichment Program

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Tickle College of Engineering and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga College of Engineering and Computer Science is pleased to offer a new Summer Algebra Enrichment Program. This program will provide a great opportunity for students who struggled in Algebra during the school year to strengthen skills in this foundational subject.

This two-week program will combine remediative sessions in Algebra I with on-campus experiences to give students the opportunity to experience STEM in a whole new way. A typical daily schedule will include Algebra instruction in the morning with college and career sessions, mentoring from college students, and STEM activities in the afternoon.

*Please note that the University of Tennessee will be closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.  We will provide an optional at-home activity for that date.*

How to Apply

The application for both locations can be found using the Go Vols portal.

Please make sure to create a new account, then choose Start Application, then 2024 Tickle College of Engineering, and finally Algebra Summer Camp.

Please feel free to email us at tceoutreach@utk.edu if you have any questions or run into problems with the application. Applications will be reviewed by each site coordinator and each program will cap at 30 participants.
