CBE Scores at AIChE Conference
The UT AIChE Student Chapter won the bid to host the 2017 AIChE Southern Regional Student Conference in March 2017.
Students from the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) earned accolades at the2016 AIChE Southern Regional Conference, held at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday, April 2, 2016.
The UT AIChE Student chapter was well represented at the conference. The UT AIChE ChemE Car Team placed fifth in the ChemE Car Competition at the conference. The ChemE Car Faculty Advisor is Dr. Gabriel Goenaga. The ChemE Car Safety Advisor is Dr. Douglas Aaron. The team will compete at the 2016 AIChE Annual Student Conference in San Francisco, California in November.
Marti Bell, UT AIChE Member placed fourth in the conference’s Research Poster Competition. Bell’s advisor is Eric Boder.
