Dustin Gilmer is collaborating on two projects that received grants from America Makes and the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM). 

A unique collaboration between the Tickle College of Engineering and the University of Tennessee School of Art is helping address the workforce shortage in the U.S casting and forging industry through hosting METAL bootcamps.

Dustin Gilmer has joined the UT faculty as an assistant professor for the University of Tennessee Space Institute with a home in the Department of Materials Science Engineering.
