For rising sophomores
Designed for rising tenth graders, the college hosts the Engineering VOLunteers for Tenth Graders (eVOL10) is hosted in the summer for students who demonstrate interest in engineering. eVOL10 will provide ACT Math seminars and experiences focused on awareness of engineering careers.
GAMES Camp
For rising 5th-8th graders
GAMES Camp aims to help students gain a better understanding of STEM through play. They will get a glimpse of mathematics, engineering, and science in our games-based camp. Throw in VR and Board Games and it will be an entertaining and educational week to break up the summer!
HITES12
For rising seniors
Established in 2001, the High School Introduction to Engineering Systems for Twelfth Graders (HITES12) program identifies and selects rising twelfth grade students who demonstrate an interest in engineering and offers them the opportunity to explore UT and engineering.
Materials Camp
For high school students
Materials Camp is a week-long opportunity to learn about materials science using a range of equipment and skills. Students will gain hands-on learning experiences in applied math and science while participating in a truly unique, team-based problem solving experience that explores materials science and engineering principles.
STEMology Camp
For rising 3rd-6th graders
STEMology camp introduces rising 3rd-6th graders to STEM through exploration and education. Students will learn about STEM topics through hands-on interactions with staff and students while gaining important skills such as public-speaking, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Summer Algebra Enrichment Program
For 8th-11th graders
This program will combine remediative sessions in Algebra I with on-campus experiences to give students the opportunity to experience STEM in a whole new way. A typical daily schedule will include Algebra instruction in the morning with college and career sessions, mentoring from college students, and STEM activities in the afternoon.
