Pro-tip for Prospective Students:
“Something my coach always says is ‘better rested; better tested’ and I think that goes for everything. I don’t stay up late before exams or big projects or papers. I work at a reasonable hour and then get to bed.”

Favorite thing about the college?

“I love how close knit MSE it is—everyone knows the professors and who you are so, it’s easy to get to know everybody and you always have that group of classmates and friends at your disposal. It makes things easier.”

How do you balance your time between being a student-athlete and an engineering student?

“It’s difficult. The biggest thing is always trying to get the right amount of sleep and getting all your work done. You get into a pattern and a schedule and things work out. You have to stay focused.”

Why Materials Science and Engineering?

“I came to the EF (Engineering Fundamentals) fair as a freshman and talked to students from all majors. It all goes back to MSE. There is so much more than I thought.”
