Pre-College Counselor Application Checklist

You will need to gather the following information to begin your application. You will be able to start and save the application throughout the process.

Part 3: Letter of Recommendation

• Applicants are encouraged to seek two recommendations from individuals outside of our office (ex: EF instructor, gen. ed. instructor, work supervisor).
• Recommendation letters should be emailed to [email protected]

Part 4: Upload Your Resume

• You will need to upload a PDF version of your resume to be considered for the counselor position.

Part 4: Introduction Video

• Your introduction video makes it easy for us to quickly get a sense of your personality and motivation to serve as a pre-college counselor. It is meant to show us who you are—so relax, be yourself, and get creative! There is no format for your introduction video, however, please keep the time limit to no more than 5 minutes.

This year’s pre-college summer program dates are as follows:

• HITES¹²: July 12-17, 2026
• eVOL¹⁰: July 19-24, 2026

All interested applicants will need to submit their application and materials by December 19, 2025. Apply to be a counselor.
