Ami McBride

Biography

Ami McBride received her BBA in management from Davenport University in 1993, followed by a BBA in accounting from Baker College of Cadillac in 1998, and finally an MBA from Lake Superior State University in 2000.  Ami held financial roles for various companies in construction and manufacturing from 1988 to 2005 before moving to higher ed at the end of 2005 at Baker College of Cadillac where she was the Vice President for Finance.  Ami joined UT as the Business Manager for Nuclear Engineering in 2014.  She was promoted to Budget Director for the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences in 2017.  In 2018 Ami was appointed as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Tickle College of Engineering.  She was promoted to Executive Director of Finance and Administration in 2021 and then to Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration in 2023.
