Amanda Middleton is the college’s new Special Programs Coordinator, starting April 1.
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) recognized Travis Griffin, director of the college’s Engineering Diversity Programs, as its Collegiate Chapter Advocate of the Year in the recent 25th Annual NSBE Golden Torch Awards.

Anne Skutnik is the college’s first director in the Office of Student Success, focused on the pathways that students take to get to engineering, and how we can help them on their journey.
“I love to help people and I try to bring my best to my role every day,” she said. “Students, faculty, and staff can see me for almost anything. I am always willing to help and serve others.”
Cristina Soto has worked on the UT Knoxville campus for quite a while, and recently took on the role of accounting specialist III in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. JeNai Davis joined the college as an academic advisor for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) in early 2021. She helps CEE students with course planning and helps address their concerns about academic support and scheduling.
Michael Allen won the staff chili cook-off, organized by the TCE Staff Advisory Council in celebration of Homecoming week.
In her role, Adams quickly came to enjoy the camaraderie that exists among EECS faculty and staff, and across all TCE departments. She is happy to help with any question for EECS.
The TCE community gathered on November 1 at the engineering courtyard for spirited seasonal competition as Boo in the Courtyard, the college’s annual costume contest, returned to campus. The event doubled as a collection day for items donated to the Chancellor’s Day of Service.
