Fred D. Brown, Jr. Minority Engineering Scholarship

This scholarship awards minority students in the college who achieve academic excellence and demonstrate outstanding leadership.

Selection

The selection of the recipient for the Fred D. Brown, Jr. Minority Engineering Scholarship will be made by the Dwight Hutchins Engineering Diversity Programs and the associate dean for academic and student affairs.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate/graduate minority engineering student making satisfactory progress toward an engineering degree.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be in good standing academically with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
• Must have demonstrated leadership throughout campus and community organizations.

Selection Criteria

The criteria for selection will be the parameters noted in the eligibility requirements and student need.
