John D. Tickle Professor Mingzhou Jin has been selected as the next editor-in-chief of The Engineering Economist.  

David Soukup (MS ’81) was named a Fellow of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) at the IISE’s 2024 Annual Conference and Expo.

In recognition of their academic excellence, ISE undergraduates Lillian McCloud and Julie Davenport have each received a $1,000 scholarship from the IISE.

IISE President Connor McReynolds led a team of other ISE students to paint The Rock on UT’s campus.

The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) announced their scholarship winners for 2021~2022 and we had several students that were awarded.

Kalina Scarbrough won first place in the 2021 IISE Mid-Atlantic Technical Regional Competition for her paper, “Real-Time Sensor-Based Prediction of Soil Moisture in Green Infrastructure: Case Study.”

Huseyin Kose is a fourth-year PhD candidate in industrial and systems engineering working on quality and productivity improvements in additive manufacturing.
