Research
The mission of the Cardiovascular Biomechanics Lab is to improve clinical therapies and medical devices for cardiovascular and neurological diseases using our expertise in experimental and computational modeling. Our interdisciplinary research focuses on understanding the underlying biomechanics of cardiovascular diseases and their treatments, with primary interests in acute ischemic stroke (AIS), venous thrombosis, cardiopulmonary bypass, congenital heart disease, and hydrocephalus.
