Amine Benkechkache
Adjunct Assistant Teaching Professor
Biography
Amine Benkechkache is an Adjunct Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Applied Engineering and a Research Scientist in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He also serves as Manager of the Micro-Processing Research Facility (MPRF), a university core facility, where he supports activities in microfabrication, semiconductor device development, and advanced instrumentation.
Since joining the University of Tennessee in 2019 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, he has held several technical and leadership roles supporting the university’s educational and research mission.
With more than a decade of experience in electronics, semiconductor technologies, radiation detectors, and laboratory operations, Benkechkache’s expertise includes electrical systems, instrumentation, PCB design and manufacturing, semiconductor devices, and radiation detection systems, with an emphasis on hands-on engineering education.
