Research

Dr. Farhad’s research integrates sustainable manufacturing, advanced materials recycling, energy technologies, and AI-enabled manufacturing systems. His group develops experimental platforms, sensing and data-acquisition methods, materials-processing workflows, and physics-guided modeling tools for circular polymer manufacturing, battery and electrochemical systems, materials recovery, smart manufacturing, and digital-twin-enabled process optimization.
