What Are
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering?
Mechanical and aerospace engineering take deep looks at the way we use next-gen materials in manufacturing, the engines that propel us around the world, humanity’s ability to go further into the solar system, and much more. Use the links below to learn more about which discipline is right for you.
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest and most versatile engineering disciplines. It involves the design, analysis, and manufacture of mechanical systems—from engines and energy systems to robotics and medical devices. Mechanical engineers apply principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, and control systems to solve real-world problems across industries such as automotive, energy, healthcare, and manufacturing
Aerospace Engineering
Aerospace engineering focuses on the design, development, and testing of aircraft, spacecraft, and related systems. It combines elements of aerodynamics, propulsion, flight mechanics, and structural analysis to advance technologies used in aviation and space exploration. Aerospace engineers work on cutting-edge systems for commercial aircraft, defense technologies, satellites, and future space missions.
