Mingzhou Jin will lead a multi-institutional University Transportation Center aimed at improving the mobility of people and goods across the country with funding from the U.S Department of Transportation.

Rapinder “Rupy” Sawhney, ISE professor and Heath Faculty Fellow in Engineering, passed away on December 7, 2022 after serving as a member of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering since 1976

IISE President Connor McReynolds led a team of other ISE students to paint The Rock on UT’s campus.

Rupy Sawhney Jeremiah Gbadegoye,Ninad Pradhan, and Omkar Ghosalkar were recognized for the top two paper awards at the Lean Six Sigma & Data Science Conference.

The 2022 Hall of Fame additions for the Department of ISE include two distinguished alumni–John D. Tickle and John D. “Spike” Tickle II.
