Biography
Caleb Ju is an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research interests are in optimization, reinforcement learning, and their applications in energy and science.
Before Tennessee, Caleb received his PhD in operations research from the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has also collaborated with Argonne National Laboratory, the National Laboratory of the Rockies, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Caleb’s research has been recognized by the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship and the Alice & John Jarvis Best Paper Award, among other awards. Caleb is a member of INFORMS and SIAM.
