AMBASSADORS
EPP ambassadors are students who have completed work assignments. They represent EPP in our office and at various events throughout the year offering unique insight into our programs and share first-hand experiences. Their responsibilities include:
- Career readiness assistance: Each ambassador dedicates at least two hours a week to meeting with students to share information about resume preparation, interviews, cover letters, and more.
- Program promotion within the classroom: Ambassadors speak to classes about the positive outcomes of EPP programs.
- Major program event support: In addition to providing support for events throughout the year, ambassadors help employers during the Engineering Expo.
- Visitor assistance: Occasionally, ambassadors greet guests in the EPP office and direct them to their destination or offer other helpful information.
- Leadership development training: Throughout the year, ambassadors are required to attend leadership development training and meetings.
