Heath Faculty Fellow in Business and Engineering Rupy Sawhney has helped forge ties with a university in Uzbekistan.
UT students have worked in collaboration with Clayton Homes to improve the workforce production of their employees while also reducing their overall stress at one of the company’s facilities.
Rupy Sawhney, professor of industrial and systems engineering, and researchers with CASRE are working to expand the group’s reach internationally.

The Center for Advanced Systems Research and Education at UT will host an international event on October 6 that aims to improve business practices around the world. “Accelerating Operational Excellence” will examine topics related to production, technology, and culture, providing participants with real-world examples of where such ideas have succeeded.
