Amanda Middleton is the college’s new Special Programs Coordinator, starting April 1.
“Melissa has a great understanding of where we are as a college, the positive trajectory we are on, and her leadership will be a critical factor in helping us achieve our goals,” said Dean Matthew Mench, the Wayne T. Davis Dean’s Chair of the college. “We’re excited to see what the future holds.”
“I am also a 2017 UT graduate myself, so I know my way around campus pretty well and am familiar with a lot of various aspects of UT from both a student and staff member’s perspective,” she said. “Oh, and I am proficient in Spanish and love every opportunity to practice my translating skills.”
Carrie Zitzman is the administrative assistant for Dean Janis Terpenny, and also supports Associate Dean Bill Dunne and the college research coordinators.
“I will help to establish goals, objectives, policies, procedures and priorities related to fiscal operations,” she said. “Most of the role’s responsibilities will be assisting the budget director in analyzing financial information for the purpose of providing direction and support to the college, along with making recommendations in procedures and streamlining processes.”
