Chris Moore is the communication specialist for the Reliability and Maintainability Center, in charge of all marketing for both the center and its annual Maintainability and Reliability Conference, MARCON. He also does all of the center’s web and graphic design.
The Jefferson City native graduated from MTSU in visual communications and has multiple certifications—“Way too many to list,” he notes.
He moved to Fort Lauderdale after graduation and then all the way to Australia before heading back to Knoxville on his career path.
“I ran the day to day marketing operations for Bally’s Total Fitness Corporate office in Fort Lauderdale, where I met some friends that opened up a 5-star resort in New Gambier, Australia,” said Moore. “They invited me over to start up the marketing for the resort. It was an experience of a life time.”
He and wife Stephanie are not through seeing the world. They plan on moving to Ireland when they retire.
“We enjoy traveling to other countries, especially to follow our ancestry,” said Moore.
Locally, they enjoy going to football and baseball games. They also look after their perfectly named dogs—Lagertha, an English Bulldog, and Rory McElweenie, a miniature Dachshund.
