We23 is the largest conference and career fair in the world for women in engineering and technology with a record-breaking 22,000 attendees this year in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n<p>Kim gave a five-minute talk about her PhD research titled \u201cX-ray Vision:\u00a0 Discovery of New Scintillators for Improved Cargo Screening.\u201d\u00a0 For her presentation, Kim received the first-place award.
