There she takes care of travel, invoices, payroll, and procurement cards, and says she can probably field most any question faculty or staff might come to her with.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been at UT for around 14 years, so there isn\u2019t much I haven\u2019t done at some point,\u201d said Soto. \u201cI have experience with academic, human resources, accounting, and administrative duties and tasks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She feels that colleagues know about her knowledge base and often come to her as a resource, and she enjoys working with the TCE campus community.<\/p>\n<p>Soto is a Knoxville native, having grown up in the Halls area. She attended Florida State University majoring in fashion design. She decided she didn\u2019t want to move to the fashion capitals of New York or California, so she chose another career path.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy first job out of college was in a bookkeeping role,\u201d she said. \u201cI realized that it was good for me since I\u2019m a very detailed and organized person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Soto maintains creative endeavors through guitar playing, which she has done for 20 years.
