In mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering, entrance into the MS program is available to qualified graduates of recognized undergraduate curricula in mechanical or aerospace engineering and to qualified graduates of other curricula who satisfy the necessary prerequisites. Admission into the doctoral program will be granted to those applicants who have demonstrated superior achievement in their engineering backgrounds. Upon applying to the Graduate School, the names and addresses of three references must be included with your program application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engineering Science<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In engineering science, entrance into the graduate program is available to graduates of recognized curricula in engineering, mathematics, or one of the physical or biological sciences. The names and addresses of three references must be included with the program application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each student must satisfactorily complete a program of study that has been approved by his\/her advisory committee and complies with the requirements of the Graduate Council. In engineering science, the student\u2019s major professor may be selected from a department other than the Department of Mechanical abd Aerospace Engineering; however, at least one member of the student\u2019s graduate advisory committee must be on the faculty of our department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
