Soukup was inducted at the IISE\u2019s 2024 Annual Conference and Expo, held in Montreal, Canada in May.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-924 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/tickle.utk.edu\/ise\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/David-Soukup.jpg\" alt=\"David Soukup gets inducted as a fellow of the of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers.\" width=\"354\" height=\"531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tickle.utk.edu\/ise\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/David-Soukup.jpg 400w, https:\/\/tickle.utk.edu\/ise\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2024\/07\/David-Soukup-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 354px) 100vw, 354px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Soukup, a licensed professional engineer who holds degrees in systems and industrial engineering, is an adjunct professor at New York University\u2019s Tandon School of Engineering. He launched a student chapter of IISE at NYU in 2020.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Soukup is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and has membership in the Phi Kappa Phi and Tau Beta Pi Honor societies.
