He received his Ph.D. degree in Transportation System Analysis and Planning from Northwestern University. Dr. Zheng\u2019s research centers on the crosscutting field of Industrial Engineering and Mobility. Key areas of his research include but are not limited to: autonomous transportation, traffic safety, mobility system analysis and management, smart logistics systems, and data-driven modeling for dynamic systems. Methodology-wise, he specializes in developing novel tools based on applied economics, game theory, machine learning (ML), optimization, and network science.
