At its core is Systems Thinking\u2014a holistic approach to problem-solving. Our people-centric methodology, developed with industry partners, offers a structured framework for critical thinking.<\/p>\n<p>Transferable learning ensures graduates are ready to tackle real-world challenges. The flexible design integrates with various industries and development programs. Classes meet on Fridays, ideal for professionals in the DOE, DOD, or affiliated contractors. A new cohort begins each fall.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"orange-mark\">The Sawhney Model<\/h2>\n<p class=\"quietHeading\" style=\"margin: 5px 0px 20px;font-style: italic\">People First. Systems Stronger. Results That Last.<\/h3>\n<p>Developed at UT, the Sawhney Model advances people-centric systems engineering, integrating workforce, process, and technology into a unified framework for operation excellence.<\/p>\n<p>At the heart of every system are people\u2014the Sawhney Model empowers leaders to engineer solutions that uplift both organizations and the individuals who drive them. The model puts people at the center of systems engineering\u2014where workforce, process, and technology thrive together.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"orange-mark\">Why Study<\/h2>\n<p>The MS Industrial Engineering Systems Cohort Program prepares participants to become Systems Champions through systems-based problem solving that enhances workplace performance. With a focus on Reliability and Operational Excellence, students become servant leaders who deliver sustainable solutions that benefit both systems and people. The program builds skills in system analysis, project management, and solution implementation.
