“Because of the different types of training provided through this program, I believe that any Grand Challenge Scholar\u2019s Student will be a highly motivated and multifaceted student capable of taking on large problems because they have the different tools and skills necessary. Research Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams assisted in developing a new cascade model and theory for nuclear security at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The dissertation that Williams took part in, under the direction of David Vermillion, \u201cImproving Predictive Capabilities of Classical Cascade Theory for Nonproliferation Analysis\u201d could be incorporated into a model to make an extremely high-resolution gas centrifuge cascade analysis tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
