Five members of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tickle College of Engineering faculty received National Science Foundation career awards.

Wei Gao, assistant professor of electrical engineering and computer science (EECS), Jon Hathaway, assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering, Donatello Materassi, assistant professor of EECS, Kai Sun, assistant professor of EECS, and Cong Trinh, assistant professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering, received NSF career awards.
