Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Professor Chris Cherry was recently quoted in Bloomberg Hyperdrive for a story about a startup in the transportation sector that is making pods for bike and scooter parking in cities. Cherry spoke about the economics involved in maintaining bike parking facilities and says he would prefer to see more bike racks available at buildings rather than a few high-tech bike parking facilities that are only in a couple of places.
