Interested in studying engineering at UT? Start your application through either the UT Application or Common Application portal. Also, fill out the application fee waiver form—eligibility required. Financial Aid

Three types of financial aid are available for students: scholarships, loans, and part-time employment. The college and its departments annually award more than $1 million in scholarships to qualified undergraduates. To apply for engineering scholarships, students must be accepted into both UT and the college.

Academic Common Market

UT is a member of the Academic Common Market, which enables out-of-state students to pursue college degrees at discounted, in-state tuition rates. The college offers several programs approved to participate in the program.

Admissions Requirements

Admissions criteria is based on several performance criteria, including completion of core academic subjects, GPA scores on these subjects, and standardized test (SAT or ACT) scores (currently not required for 2021). Students who may not meet the test-score or test-optional criteria are holistically reviewed for admission into TCE.

Candidates for engineering programs must have earned a bachelor’s degree with grade point average of at least 2.7 out of 4.0 from a college or university accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting agency or a foreign equivalent.
