MS in Reliability and
Maintainability Engineering<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The\u202fReliability and Maintainability Engineering\u202f(RME) program is a multidisciplinary program that focuses on the use of management systems, analysis techniques, and advanced condition-based and preventive technologies to identify, manage, and eliminate failures leading to losses in system function. Once perceived as a practitioner or manufacturing issue, reliability, and maintainability engineering is now considered a business issue of urgent priority. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u202fMaster of Science degree\u202fconsists of thirty hours of graduate work in RME and may have a concentration in one of the traditional engineering academic departments. Thesis and non-thesis research options are available for students, and the program can be completed on campus or through real-time and interactive distance delivery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student can also choose to pursue a\u202fdual MS-MBA program<\/a>\u202fwith a major in reliability and maintainability engineering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Applicants for admission to the MS program in Reliability and Maintainability Engineering are expected to have earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited undergraduate program in engineering or physics. Students from other appropriate disciplines (e.g. chemistry, mathematics, etc.) can be admitted but additional engineering courses may be required. Entering students must have, as a minimum, competency in mathematics through ordinary differential equations. Students in the program may choose a concentration with one of the departments offering the major:\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
