My name is Alec Yen, and I am heading into my second year at Tennessee as an electrical engineering major. This blog will follow me in my adventures with UT’s Honors Study Abroad Program in Cambridge, England.

In my five weeks here, I will be taking two courses: History of the English Language and History of the English People, both of which will be taught by UT faculty, Thomas Heffernan. We will be studying at Emmanuel College at Cambridge University.

In this blog, I will discuss things I learn along the way as well as my adventures overseas. Aside from the days dedicated to coursework and class field trips, I have many exciting trips planned throughout the United Kingdom and even continental Europe!
