Pre-College Programs

The Dwight Hutchins Engineering Diversity Programs offers an array of pre-college engineering-focused enrichment programs for high school students.

eVOL10

The college is hosting our annual eVOL10 for rising tenth grade students who demonstrate interest in engineering. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in ACT Math seminars and experiences focused on awareness of engineering careers.

HITES12

The HITES12 program identifies and selects rising twelfth grade students who demonstrate an interest in engineering and offers them the opportunity to explore UT. Students will engage with engineering faculty, learn about college life, and be introduced to our Engineering Fundamentals program.

Summer Open Positions

Coordinator

The college is seeking a current graduate student to serve as a coordinator for our 2025 Pre-College Summer Programs. He/she will assist in developing, coordinating, and maintaining an environment that strives to provide students with a positive intellectual, emotional, and social environment.

Counselors

The college is seeking current UT students to serve as counselors for our annual Pre-College Summer Programs during the summer of 2025. Counselors will lead and mentor rising twelfth grade (HITES12) and tenth grade students (eVOL10) interested in science, math, and engineering.
