Due to the coronavirus, the in-person Spring 2020 Commencement ceremony was held virtually. Visit the Tickle College of Engineering’s Spring 2020 Commencement Site.
This special commencement website contains individual acknowledgements for all our graduating seniors as well as speeches by Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Ozlem Kilic; Dean and Wayne T. Davis Dean’s Chair Janis Terpenny; keynote speaker, alum, and Astronaut Barry Wilmore; student speaker, Torchbearer Nicholas Ross; Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Castillo; and Chancellor Plowman and Provost Manderscheid.
Celebrating the tremendous achievements of our graduating students through virtual and digital means was not the celebration we had envisioned, but we tried to make the most of the situation in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
